15 September 1997 Duckie Supports the GLF Manifesto! Leif Harmsen The 1980 Gay Liberation Front Manifesto has received the explicit and total support of Duckie. Miss Amy Lamé went public with Duckie's firm commitment on February 15th 1997 at the Duckie Salutes the GLF night. After seventeen years the GLF Manifesto has yet to be realised, and therefore must remain top priority for all lesbian sisters and gay brothers, reads the notice posted by the Duckie crew. The evening included a Duckie Quiz on GLF history. Central members of the GLF were present including the honorable Mary Mackintosh who had written a large chunk of the historic Manifesto.
