24 December 1996 Duckie Open Christmas Eve '96 Leif HarmsenIt was difficult to get there and get back, but a good number of Duckie regulars and others made it to Duckie's Christmas Eve bash. Everyone agreed that it was a nice change to have more room to dance and the mood was particularly cheerful and enthusiastic. The gesture of opening on Christmas Eve, despite the difficulties, was not lost on those who either don't subscribe to the Christian family holiday, were unable to be with their families, think of Duckie as their family or brought their families to Duckie. Mince pies and other seasonal treats made the rounds as Miss Lamé declared it one of the best Duckie nights ever! |
