14 September 1996 Duckie's High School Prom Sensation! Leif Harmsen For one night only Duckie relocated to the Institute of Contemporary Arts for a night of performance and dancing. The Prom Committee included Amy Lamé, the Divine David, Chloe Poems, Marisa Carr, Ursula Martinez, Azaria Universe, Charlie Pulford, Angela de Castro and The Reader's Wifes. Once again Duckie deconstructed the distinction between the niteclub, contemporary art and politics. The press had a very difficult time coming to grips with Duckie as a new art form, proving once again that the Duckie Generation can and generally does topple multiple boundaries in a single evening.
