Drag Fabulist, Dickie Beau, is a performance artist whose work is an avant-garde blend of cabaret, drag, music hall, theatre and clowning; merging the sensibility of contemporary culture with queer twists and informed echoes of the past. He recently has been seen at the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Opera House and the Royal Vauxhall Tavern
His trilogy of performance vignettes called ‘BLACKOUTS: Twilight of the Idols’ is a contemporary theatrical tour-de-force due to tour extensively in 2011. Moonlighting from his main work Dickie also recently played Hal in ‘Kvetch’ for award-winning Italian physical theatre company, Teatro Della Contraddizione in Milan.
